Distracted driving: an all time high

Numerous studies released in the last few weeks are pointing to increased distracted driving. One of the conclusions is that “anything that takes your attention away, any glance away from the road for two seconds or longer can increase the risk of an accident from four to 24 times”.  A study undertaken by AT&T underlined the large proportion of drivers who admit to engaging in a variety of distracting activities while driving, ranging from 10% who video chat to 61% who text.
